Object Box - Saves PTE Slide Objects and its Images
For PicturesToExe Users
Object Box- for PicturesToExe Users

Object Box is a easy to use utility tool which can copy, save, load, and send PicturesToExe-Slide Objects. Having a Objects Library folder of saved object files allows PTE Users to quickly access and reuse their favorite and often used animated objects again and again in other slides or project files. Saving your often used animated objects can be a real time saver when building new or adding to other project files. Object Box cannot copy a Slide in the Slide List ... but it can copy all its Objects used in that selected Slide. Object Box works somewhat like a clipboard in PicturesToExe-Objects and Animation window to perform its copy and send functions. If you require a basic understanding of what Objects are used for and where they are, I suggest you first read the PicturesToExe User Guide-Objects and Animation topic.

Object Box provides an alternative solution to the normal practice of saving Template files or Backup files of a whole project because it just saves the selected Objects you may only require. Any User that has Object Box installed can also use your saved object files. Just zip up the individual object folder with its content and email or distribute to another PTE User. Instruct the recipient to unzip it into their own Objects Library folder. If the shared object file has any images, the recipient just needs to run the included Image Path Tool which rewrites the image file path in the object file from its Original path to the Local path so it can be readily used on any PC.

----------------

Note: On some systems, Windows Security may block or restrict the ObjectBox Guide.chm at zip extraction stage. This causes the CHM file not to properly show its contents.

The fix to this issue is when using right click on the zip and choose properties - the message states :
"Security - This file came from another computer and might be blocked to protect this computer (unblock box)"

If one clicks the unblock box - then click apply - right-click - click extract all - then the zip extracts all files and the CHM file works correctly.
Left as blocked original, it will extract all the files but restrict the CHM file.

However, you can also just drag all the files out of the zip ... and the CHM file works correctly.
